Christmas is my favorite time of year. I think now that I am a mother, it is even more special and magical. Some of my favorite Christmas traditions that we do today are ..Decorating the Christmas tree with Christmas music in the background
Getting the kids in their PJs, all bundled up, and driving around at night to see lights
Sending Christmas cards and trying to get a perfect picture - which is always impossible
Making peppermint bark
Elf on the Shelve (new this year)
Baking Christmas cookies - especially Grandmommy's receipes
Attend holiday craft fair
Meeting family at Colonial Williamsburg, lunch at Kings Arms
Reading Twas the night before Christmas on Christmas Eve
Seeing the Legandary Santa
Sitting together as a family to do a gingerbread house
Christmas morning butterscotch rolls
Going to see the snow fall from the sky at one of our local malls
Christmas Eve Mass
Seeing the magic in my kids eyes on Christmas morning. It makes the sleepless nights (there have been many in the past months) worth it!
I am a 35 year old wife to Rob and mother to Matthew, Grace and Will. We live in the South and have one hectic life .. but love every minute of it. I love being a mom, decorating, sewing, paper stationary, cooking, gardening and making things pretty.
